LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
After twice refusing to go to his arraignment, the Louisville man accused of kidnapping a family and robbing a bank finally appeared in front of a judge on Monday.
Armond Langford, 32, was arrested on Friday after police said he went on a crime spree around Shelbyville Road, not far from the malls.
Police said he first entered a woman's home, then demanded at knifepoint that she and her two children drive him to a nearby PNC bank so that he could rob it.
Just last year, Langford was sentenced to 14 years in prison for nearly a dozen robbery charges, but was released just months later on shock probation.
When he was arrested Friday, he admitted to even more robberies.
He was supposed to be arraigned on Saturday, but he refused to leave the jail.
