DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Lanes are opening back up on Interstate 20 in Douglas County after a multi-vehicle crash caused lanes in both directions to be shut down Monday morning.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), all lanes in both directions of I-20 at Post Road were blocked due to a crash involving a dump truck and tractor-trailer. The alert was reported just before just after 4:30 a.m.

GDOT says the dump truck “had the back of its truck raised when driving on I-20,″ which hit the South Baggett Road bridge. Then, a tractor-trailer ran into the dump truck.

No word has been given on any possible injuries.
