YOUNGSTOWN A 14-year-old boy was arrested Friday after allegedly robbing another 14-year-old at gunpoint at his lemonade stand on Youngstown’s Northside.
Police were called to a reported robbery in progress near Fifth Avenue and Redondo Road around 4:50 p.m.
He told police a male suspect had stolen a safe containing money and a backpack before fleeing the scene.
According to the police report, the victim said he played football with the other teen for a short time before the suspect pulled a gun and took the items. Officers initially searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
Later, a tip from a witness led officers to a house, where they arrested the 14-year-old suspect, who was charged with aggravated robbery and taken to the Juvenile Justice Center.
