A new workplace comedy is part of the CBS fall lineup, and it stars a “Saturday Night Live” alum who is from Michigan.
“ DMV ” premieres on Monday, October 13 at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
The comedy is set at a Department of Motor Vehicles "where employees are making minimum wage dealing with customers who are annoyed before they even walk in the door," CBS wrote about the show.
“SNL” alum, Tim Meadows, who was born in Highland Park, grew up in Detroit and went to Wayne State University, plays Gregg on the show.
His character is described as “a misanthropic former English teacher.”
Also working at the East Hollywood DMV office on the show are: Colette (Harriet Dyer), Vic (Tony Cavalero) Barbara (Molly Kearney), Noa (Alex Tarrant), and Ceci (Gigi Zumbado).
