A leading fashion resale marketplace’s co-founder and longtime CEO is stepping down.

After helping launch Poshmark in 2011, Manish Chandra will transition from his chief executive position into a strategic role on the company's board of directors. Namsun Kim, who currently serves as Poshmark's executive chairman, will be appointed CEO, effective Oct. 1.

During his time leading Poshmark, the company says Chanda has spearheaded significant growth, including building a “unique and diverse” global employee base and culture, forming a community of over 150 million entrepreneurs, taking the company public on the NASDAQ stock exchange in 2021, and leading the company's acquisition by Naver Corp. , Korea's largest internet company, in January 2023.
