GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A man who died in a shooting on the southeast side of Grand Rapids on Aug. 10 has been identified.
Randy Carl Campbell, 38, was killed in the shooting, Grand Rapids Police say.
Around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday, police responded to the area of Logan Street SE and Diamond Avenue SE for a report of a shooting.
Police said they found Campbell suffering from gunshot injuries. First responders attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the Major Case Team is continuing to investigate the incident.
