Thompson Thrift will be breaking ground on South Bridge Marketplace’s second phase later this year and, yes, it will still be anchored by Aldi.
After a successful grand opening at Lowe’s last month — and opening of Sonoran Creek Marketplace in 2021 – the developer has begun to move forward on plans for the 54,000 square foot second phase of South Bridge Marketplace.
“After working with the city to bring the Sprouts development we knew we had to continue to look for opportunities in Maricopa,” said Andrew Call, the Vice President of Development Management in Thomspon Thrift’s southwest region. “With Lowes now open, we’re excited for the next phase of Southbridge and the tenants we are working with.”
Aldi has signed a lease for the project and is submitting its plans for a building
