A rollover crash occurred at the intersection of Honeycutt and Porter Roads in front of Circle K this afternoon.

Christina Turner, who witnessed the collision, said the vehicle landed on its side just after 3 p.m.

Northbound Porter Road was temporarily shut down as crews swept refuse from the roadway and tow trucks arrived to haul away the wreckage. Southbound traffic was restricted to a single lane, said Monica Williams, a Maricopa police spokesperson.

Officials reported the crash involved a failure to yield while turning left.

A nine-month-old passenger was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The roadway reopened at 3:52 p.m., said Williams.
