FISHERS, Ind. — Fishers police arrested a man Sunday night after they say he groped a woman who was walking in a neighborhood .

According to court documents, police were called to the 12900 block of Duval Drive in the Grey Eagle neighborhood around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10.

The victim told police she was on an evening walk near her house when a man ran up from behind her and forcefully grabbed her buttocks with his hands. The victim told officers the man then ran away from her.

Officers later saw a man matching the description of the suspect walking in the neighborhood.

According to court documents, with the description given by the victim and witnesses, police arrested Daniel Nevins II.

The Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office has formally charged Nevins for sexual battery.
