MIDDLETON, Wis. (WMTV) - City of Middleton is reporting intermittent 911 outages on Monday afternoon.

The City of Middleton sent an alert just after 1:30 p.m. to report the issue with its dispatch center.

The City is asking anyone who needs emergency services to call the nonemergency line, at 608-824-7300.

It is unclear what is causing the outage.

UW-Madison was also reporting outages with its 911 landline calls on Monday.

UW-Madison asked those who need to call 911 to use a cell phone, or dial the non-emergency line at 608-264-COPS.
