Teaneck Police Department officer Glenn Coley filed a whistleblower lawsuit in 2022 alleging his career was derailed after he broke rank and gave sworn testimony supporting a township resident’s account that officers used excessive force.
Coley, 59, testified during a 2018 deposition that fellow officers violently threw Andrea Tompkins against a car, handcuffed her and cut off her purse with a knife during a 2014 arrest.
