In its 39th consecutive year, the 1000 Islands Poker Run brought more than 40,000 spectators to the shores of the St. Lawrence River.
Though the the official poker run was on Saturday, it is celebrated as a three-day event from Kingston to Brockville and ports in between.

Crowds gathered in Confederation Park in Kingston from August 8 to the 10 to see first-hand 80 high-performance speed boats.
A jumbo movie screen was in Springer Market Square both Friday and Saturday nights starting at dusk, showcasing poker run highlights and footage captured by photographers and drones.
The boats were launched Saturday at 10 a.m. for the official poker run, and their return to Kingston was between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. that afternoon.
