GEORGETOWN, S.C. (WCSC) - Ronnie Todd Jr. will spend the rest of his life in prison without the possibility of parole after a jury found him guilty of shooting and killing two people in a targeted attack on July 22, 2022.

On Monday, a jury found Todd guilty of shooting and killing Emily Richitelli and John Ashley Altman. Todd was an ex-boyfriend of Richitelli and a friend of Altman.

From the beginning, the prosecution laid out this case as one of a jealous man, taking two lives from the world after losing his own relationship.

The state presented Todd’s own text messages where he threatened violence, gunshot residue on his car and hands, what they believe is the murder weapon and a witness placing him at the scene.

The jury deliberated the case for just about an hour before coming back
