LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — When "Wizard of Oz" hits the Sphere on Aug. 28, expectations are high. Early ticket sales have already reached 127,000, despite a price range of $135 to $184.
"Nobody quite knows what they're going to see until we open it," Jim Dolan, Sphere's executive chairman and chief executive officer, said on Monday. "We're very proud of the product. We think it's groundbreaking. We think that it's going to draw a lot of attention and that people who come to Vegas are going to want to go. Right now, Sphere sees 7% of visitors to Las Vegas."
Dolan confidently says he expects the new show to elevate that to 10%.
"I think it's certainly worth the ticket price," Dolan said during the company's second-quarter earnings call. Dolan said the show probably wouldn't have been possible wit
