Nonprofit hiring nearly 200 people in Nevada as it steps into Medicaid role

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — A nationally recognized nonprofit that was awarded the Nevada contract for the Medicaid Managed Care Program is hiring, with plans to fill nearly 200 positions statewide.

Positions include medical directors, registered nurses, licensed social workers, mobile care managers, call center representatives, community engagement and marketing professionals, health partners and rural liaisons.

CareSource is new to Nevada and it needs to build a staff as it takes on the contract, which begins on Jan. 1. The hiring initiative is a big step in the company's expansion to Nevada, bringing managed care services to the state's 17 counties. The nonprofit currently works in 12 other states.
