Colombian singer Maluma interrupted his Mexico City performance to confront a mother who brought an infant without ear protection to his concert, sparking mixed reactions from fans and social media users.

The 31-year-old artist, currently on his “+Pretty +Dirty World Tour,” stopped mid-song after spotting a one-year-old in the crowd of 26,000, according to the New York Post .

“Do you think it’s a good idea to bring a one-year-old baby to a concert where the decibels are this f--king high?” Maluma asked the mother. “That baby doesn’t even know what it’s doing here.”
