LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin announced on August 8 that the state is participating in a multistate effort to combat robocalls nationwide.

According to a press release from the attorney general's office, Operation Robocall Roundup is led by the Anti-Robocall Litigation Task Force.

The release says Griffin and 50 attorneys general are sending warning letters to 37 voice providers demanding that they act now to stop robocalls being routed through their networks.
