LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A Louisville man is facing several charges for allegedly stealing lottery tickets from two businesses.

Louisville Metro Police (LMPD) arrested Christopher Samuel, 35, on Aug. 9 and charged him with two counts of third-degree burglary and unlawful access to a computer.

According to an arrest warrant, Samuel entered a Liquor Mart on Preston Highway on Dec. 8, 2023 after breaking the front door's glass. He then stole lottery tickets and display from the counter.

The warrant said a few days later on Dec. 10, 2023, Samuel broke into the Speedy Mart on Blue Lick Road by again breaking out the glass to the business' front door. He then removed lottery tickets from the counter.

Both thefts were captured on surveillance video, police said.
