NEW YORK (PIX11) -- Telecommunications company AT&T has agreed to a $177 million settlement in connection with two data breaches in 2024 that allegedly compromised sensitive information of customers.
Those impacted could receive a cash payment of up to $7,500.
How much can I receive?
The first breach, which was announced on March 30, 2024, allegedly compromised names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, birth dates, account passcodes, billing account numbers, and Social Security numbers.
Class members whose information was compromised can either receive a documented loss cash payment of up to $5,000, or a tier cash payment. Payment amounts will vary depending on the number of claims filed.
