MANDAN, N.D. (KFYR) - A Mandan tradition has people lining up for something sweet in the Dakota Kustomz parking lot on Mandan’s Main Avenue.

Mary Graner’s sweet corn is ready for the year. She grows it just outside the city.

Graner’s corn took longer this season to produce due to extreme weather, lack of sunshine and inconsistent temperatures. But Graner said her corn is as sweet as ever.

“The line itself will tell you how it tastes. You can’t find anything sweeter or better. It really is. I’m so grateful for all of my customers just coming back,” said Graner.

Graner and her team will be handing out corn at least through the end of the week, and maybe even into early next week, from 10 a.m. until it’s sold out.
