Last week, NBC7 first introduced you to Poway couple Mirna Irish and her husband, Jim, who needed a kidney; she turned out to be an extraordinary match.
When Jim met Mirna, he just knew she was a perfect match but found out only later that he also married his kidney match.
Surrounded by family Monday at Sharp Memorial Hospital, the couple is celebrating the successful lifesaving transplant, which took place on Friday.
