The Old Town Market summer series closed out Friday night with the rumble of engines and a salute to first responders during the “Public Safety Night” car cruise, sponsored by the Lompoc Police Department Foundation .
From 5 to 8 p.m., classic cars, hot rods and custom rides paraded along the 100 block of South H Street, drawing families downtown for an evening of chrome, nostalgia, and community spirit.
The event — part of the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce’s weekly summer series — also featured vendor booths, live music, food trucks and free activities for kids.
