Kristin Mayer has loved sport all her life.
From playing on the boys’ baseball team as a kid to racing triathlons for two decades, she never expected her athletic career would lead to fashion entrepreneurship.
In 2010, she launched Betty Designs to create the gear she couldn’t find — apparel that performs at a high level and reflects her style. Today, she supports women in sport around the world with designs made to fit a range of bodies, disciplines and personalities.
“I have loved sports since I was a little girl,” Mayer said. “I grew up a major tomboy. I didn’t want to play softball because somehow I thought that was too girly. I thought I would grow up and be in Major League Baseball.”
