STEPHENS COUNTY, Ga. (WSPA) -- A man was arrested Saturday night in connection to multiple burglaries that occurred in Toccoa from late July to early August.

Investigators with the Stephens County Sheriff's Office said they responded to a home on Shady Lane on July 24 after getting a report of a suspected burglary.

At the home, deputies spoke with a woman who said she was checking on a family member's property after they died. Officials said there were signs of an intruder, as well as missing guns, jewelry and identifying documents.

According to investigators, 32-year-old Brandon Lee Threlkeld was identified as a suspect in the burglary; warrants were then issued for his arrest.
