COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - Residents of the Pebble Creek neighborhood in College Station are voicing strong opposition to a proposed extension of Pebble Creek Parkway included in the city’s 2021 Comprehensive Plan.

The plan aims to improve connectivity and traffic flow but has raised concerns among locals about potential impacts to their community’s safety, lifestyle and property values.

Courtney Cannon is a long-time Pebble Creek resident and mother of four children attending local schools.

“We already have plenty of streets that are already less safe than they could be,” resident Courtney Cannon told KBTX.
