Over 5,000 fines for disabled parking violations were issued from one single Coventry street over a six year period - over 28 percent of the total figure. According to figures shared by Coventry City Council , 17,941 fines were issued in the city between 2019 and 2024 - with 5,073 of them due to violations on Trinity Street.

The other spots with a high number of fines from the same period include the now defunct Barracks Car Park, with 1,802, Far Gosford Street, with 1,534, Cuckoo Lane, with 1,309 and Little Park Street with 1,201.

The figures, released as part of a Freedom of Information request, also reveal the time frame saw fines issued amounting to over £550,000. 338 of those fined were repeat offenders.
