LAKEWOOD, Ohio — Hundreds of people packed the Lakewood Civic Auditorium Monday evening, facing off with First Energy representatives who called a town hall to talk about "Delivering Reliable Power to Lakewood" after more than a year of continued power outages in the area.

Right away, frustrations bubbled to the forefront, with members of the company acknowledging they had entered "hostile" territory.

At one point, Lakewood Mayor Meghan George took to the stage, telling residents she's been in constant communication with stakeholders and is working on holding everyone accountable. Last month, FirstEnergy acknowledged issues with its equipment and infrastructure, and the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio has launched an investigation into the company.
