Pittsburgh Steelers first-year cornerback Darius Slay was injured during practice on Monday.

The six-time Pro Bowler suffered an ankle injury, according to PennLive’s Nick Farabaugh .

Slay appeared to roll his ankle in the corner of the end zone during a seven shots drill, according to Farabaugh. He was attended to by trainers, before eventually being able to walk around.

Farabaugh reports that all things considered, Darius Slay appears to be okay.

Slay is entering his first season with the Steelers after previously playing for the Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles earlier in his career.

Slay was named a Pro Bowler three times during his seven seasons with the Lions and three times during his five seasons with the Eagles. He was also named first-team All-Pro in 2017. He helped
