The New Bedford Whaling Museum will host AHA! Night: Summer in the Seaport from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 14.

AHA! (Art, History, Architecture) provides a free platform for New Bedford’s creative community to showcase their talents collectively, according to a community announcement.

Attendees can join a sketching activity in the Jacobs Family Gallery starting at 5:30 p.m. This self-guided activity invites guests to celebrate coastal life through art. Materials will be provided for visitors to create drawings of seaport wildlife, imagined sea creatures or harbor scenes. Finished drawings can be displayed on the museum’s “Summer by the Sea Gallery Wall” or taken home.
