MUSKEGON, MI – The eagerness to get back to work was palpable during Monday’s opening practices across the Muskegon area as high school football teams graced the gridiron in preparation for the 2025 season.

For powerhouse programs such as the Muskegon Big Reds and the Mona Shores Sailors, the dawn of a new season presents a chance for redemption while also appreciating the opportunity in front of them.
