CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Three men are facing multiple charges, including murder, in connection with a deadly stabbing in east Charlotte , police records show.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police responded to a reported stabbing along Redwood Avenue, near the intersection of East Sugar Creek Road and North Davidson Street, around 3 a.m. on Aug. 3. When officers arrived, they found 44-year-old Jeremy Mouzon suffering from multiple stab wounds. They also said Mouzon had been struck by a vehicle and left in the road. He was taken to a hospital where he died a short time later.

On Monday, CMPD arrested Kwamane Herriott-Cox in connection with the case. Herriott-Cox is charged with first-degree murder, first-degree burglary and conspiracy in connection with Mouzon's death. Detectives also arrested Marcus Wo
