The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) has strongly criticized statements made by UDF leader Atupele Muluzi regarding former Malawi Electoral Commission chairperson Jane Ansah.

Speaking at a rally in Machinga, Muluzi warned Malawians that voting for DPP could lead to Jane Ansah becoming the country’s leader.

“DPP is aware that Atupele Muluzi believes he can take over the country’s leadership through an alliance with the DPP,” Namalomba said in response to Muluzi’s remarks.
