World Cup bobsledder discovered at first Salt Lake City recruitment combine

This time last year, Sadie McMullen was still a long jumper at the University of Wyoming. Her only knowledge of bobsledding came from Disney’s “Cool Runnings,” a family comedy about the 1988 Jamaican bobsled team.

McMullen’s life would soon change forever due to a call from USA Bobsled and Skeleton, asking her track coaches if they had any athletes who would like to come out to their first “Slide to Glory recruitment combine in Salt Lake City.
