COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- The NBA is returning to NBC this fall and the league has confirmed some marquee games that will be broadcast on NBC4.
After more than two decades away from the network, the NBA returns to NBC as part of an 11-year, $76 billion deal for NBA media rights alongside Disney (ABC/ESPN) and Amazon. This is the first time NBC will broadcast the NBA since the 2001-02 season.
NBC4 will broadcast the season opening doubleheader on Oct. 21 beginning at 7:30 p.m. when the Oklahoma City Thunder hang its championship banner and host Kevin Durant's Houston Rockets. Opening night will conclude with a west coast matchup as Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors face LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.
