BELLEVUE, Iowa (KCRG) - A young girl raised hundreds of dollars for the Fire Department and EMS in an Eastern Iowa community.
According to a Facebook post from Bellevue Fire and Rescue, Prestyn Long Kueter recently made over $600 at a lemonade stand.
Rather than keeping the funds for herself, Long Kueter donated the profits to Bellevue Fire and Rescue and Bellevue EMS, splitting the funds evenly between the two.
Long Kueter’s grandpa, Assistant Chief Tim Till, and Vice President of Bellevue EMS, Greg Schulte, accepted the checks on behalf of the departments.
