BOISE, Idaho — New housing numbers are setting a record, but that doesn’t mean there’s real good news in the real estate market, yet.

Experts are saying high prices and relatively high mortgage rates have cooled down the housing market. People are not in the mood to buy right now, but home sellers are still very motivated.

That's why, nationally, the housing market just set a record. According to Redfin, in June, there were half-a-million more people trying to sell their homes than the number of people trying to buy a home.
