BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) - Bismarck State College has been awarded a $50,000 grant through the Metallica Scholars Initiative, a national workforce development program supported by the band Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands. This marks the second year BSC has received funding through the initiative.
The grant will support students enrolled full-time in one of three qualifying programs: Industrial Automation & Robotics, Mechanical Maintenance Technology, and Automotive Collision Technology. Scholarships of up to $1,500 will be available for the 2025-2026 academic year, with applications due by Sept. 5.
