Rachel Shenton, famed for her portrayal of Helen Alderson in the 2020 adaptation of All Creatures Great and Small, is wedded to a renowned actor. The family-oriented drama, currently awaiting its sixth series, is set to return on Channel 5 soon.

The programme is inspired by the memoirs of Yorkshire vet Alf Wight, better known as James Herriot, who penned his experiences working with animals in rural areas. Nicholas Ralph takes on the role of James, with Rachel Shenton cast as his romantic interest, Helen.
