A lawsuit from a Bucks County student who claims she was forced to compete with a trans athlete was dismissed by a federal judge.

The case, which was dismissed on August 1, 2025, discusses how the plaintiff, Aislin Magalengo, first encountered Luce Allen, a trans student at Plymouth Whitemarsh High School (PWMHS), at a cross-country meet. The lawsuit says that on September 11, 2024, Magalengo was competing against Allen at a cross-country meet at Quakertown Community High School (QCHS) in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. Allen won first place at the meet, while Magalengo won second.

According to the lawsuit, after the race, Magalengo told Allen, “You are not a girl. You should not be racing against girls.”
