MARTINSBURG -- The annual National Night Out Against Crime was held at the War Memorial Park on Tuesday night.
With funding designated by the Martinsburg City Council, the event was organized for the ninth year-in-a-row by the Martinsburg Police Department (MPD). Emergency services agencies, including the West Virginia State Police, the Air National Guard, WVU Medicine, the U.S. Food & Drug Administration, the U.S. Marshall, the U.S. District Attorney's Office, the Martinsburg Fire Department and the Berkeley County Sheriff's Department, joined the MPD at the event, eager to chat with and hand out toys and emergency-related gear to Berkeley County residents.
