LAMAR COUNTY, Miss. (WDAM) - A man is behind bars after a long investigation by the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office, the Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Law enforcement arrested Braxton Moody, 30, on Wednesday at a home on Burnt Bridge Road in Lamar County.

He is charged with two counts of child exploitation, one count of possession of paraphernalia, and one count of possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm.

The Attorney General’s Office was asked to come up with a warrant for Moody’s arrest during the investigation.
