LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Nebraska Football held practice #14 of Fall Camp on Tuesday Morning. The media will hear from Special Teams Coach Mike Ekeler and a few specialists.
In the offseason, the Huskers brought in multiple new specialists. Archie Wilson came to Nebraska in the Summer. Wilson is a unique rugby style punter who is originally from Victoria, Australia.
Another addition to the special teams unit was Kevin Gallic. Gallic is a long snapper who transferred to Nebraska from the University of New Hampshire.
These new players and style changes came through the Huskers hiring Mike Ekeler in the offseason. Ekeler previously coached at Nebraska and had most recently been leading Tennessee’s special teams unit.
Nebraska opens the season on August 28, 2025 against Cincinnati.
