KFC is taking a page out of McDonald’s playbook and bringing back fan-favorite items. The chain is bringing back its beloved potato wedges and Hot & Spicy wings at locations nationwide after years of customer requests.

Potato Wedges, introduced in the mid-1990s, were a staple until they were discontinued in 2020. Hot & Spicy Wings, last available nearly two years ago, feature a spicy marinade and double hand-breading in KFC’s Extra Crispy flour.

After the items were removed from menus, fans used social media to demand their return, including starting multiple petitions.

The returning sides and wings will be available for a limited time while supplies last, beginning Aug. 18. Customers can order wedges as a side, on their own, or in a six-piece wings and wedges combo with a medium drink.
