SALT LAKE CITY —As a seasoned veteran on Utah’s offensive line, Jaren Kump has seen and played a lot of football, from grueling practices to key moments in big games.
After his initial years were hampered by injury, Kump has become a steady force for the Utes . The former Herriman High School product has played 47 career games, making 29 starts.
He has appeared at every position along the line, tallying 17 starts at center the past two years. Now entering a pivotal season, the center knows that his leadership is vital to Utah’s chances.
