The owners of Hidden Creek Farm, just west of Ruckersville, maintain the six horses taken last November were in no way malnourished — despite evidence to the contrary — testified on the stand they had never been accused of mistreating their animals — despite evidence to the contrary — and went so far as to accuse the Greene County Sheriff's Office of plotting against their family and setting their house on fire in retaliation — despite no such evidence being presented.
