FITCHBURG, Wis. -- The driver of an SUV involved in a crash that killed a UW Health system vice president last week was cited in connection with the crash, Fitchburg police said Tuesday.

Police did not release the name of the driver and said an investigation is ongoing. The Aug. 7 crash occurred in the 2600 block of South Seminole Highway at around 5:20 p.m.

According to police, a motorcycle driven by 54-year-old Troy Lepien, of Verona, struck a northbound SUV. Lepien, who was the system vice president of business integrity at UW Health, died at a local hospital following the crash.
