BUDA, Texas — A $1 million lottery ticket was recently sold in Central Texas.
On Aug. 5, an anonymous winner purchased a "1,000,000 Crossword" ticket at the Starfield Market in Buda, located at 2335 Main St. The prizewinner is from Grand Prairie, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
This marks the final of six $1 million tickets sold through this particular game. Most recently, the previous winner purchased their ticket in Pasadena, Texas, on June 9. Other tickets were bought in Eagle Lake, Dallas, Wylie and El Paso.
