Sha'Carri Richardson is speaking out following her arrest for an alleged domestic violence altercation.

The sprinter was taken into custody at the Seattle Tacoma International Airport last month after an altercation with her boyfriend, Christian Coleman.

According to the police report, the couple got into a heated exchange in the TSA security checkpoint line as an officer saw Richardson push her boyfriend numerous times.

The charge was fourth-degree domestic violence assault, according to the report.

It also stated that Richardson spent almost 19 hours at the SCORE South Correctional Entity while in custody, and the case was eventually cleared.

Coleman allegedly "declined to be a victim," and did not press charges.

Security camera footage was then released showing the altercation.
