The Ridgeland Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating 39-year-old Megan Victoria Davis, who is wanted on two counts of Aggravated Animal Cruelty.

According to Chief Brian Myers, multiple house cats were found during a welfare check on June 11, 2025 at a home in Ridgeland.

The resident had moved out, leaving the cats inside the home with no food or water for some time.

Chief Myers said two of the cats were found deceased, and two were found alive, but were in a state of malnutrition.

The two cats that were found alive were taken to Mississippi Animal Rescue League.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Davis’s whereabouts to contact the Ridgeland Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at 601-856-2121.
