Law enforcement agencies in multiple counties are warning residents to secure their homes, vehicles, ATVs, and other valuables as they search for a man wanted on several felony charges.

According to the Tallahatchie County Sheriff’s Office, Ewel “Bubba” Scott is wanted by both Tallahatchie and Panola counties for possession of stolen property, burglary, and grand larceny, with additional charges expected.

Authorities say Scott eluded law enforcement earlier today after he was spotted riding a stolen ATV in Enid. During the pursuit, Scott reportedly fled on foot, leaving behind a stolen .410 shotgun and the ATV.
